The Centre for Service-Learning and Community Engagement and The Department of Communication and Culture at the University of Calgary are pleased to present
Voices of Community Service-Learning
University of Calgary student research and website design featuring service-learning projects & participants
Join students from COMS 463: Advanced Professional and Technical Communication as they present their websites for “Service-Learning at the U of C” and share their own reflections on service-learning.
Through this innovative course students have consulted with Volunteer Calgary and the Centre for Service Learning and Community Engagement and have reviewed and published student reports from previous service-learning courses. We have interviewed approximately 40 students, instructors and community partners across campus to learn about the benefits and challenges of Community Service-Learning.
Space is limited. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to csl@ucalgary.ca
